Misc: AMA Sactioned club. Tuesday nights are trainer
nights and Wednesday nights are regular club flying
nights. This club has been around for 20+ years and has
all levels of pilots and instructors.
Runways Large mowed grass field, suitable to taking off
in any direction
Runway Features: Short mowed grass.
Facilities: Porta-potty and several trees near the pit
area for shade.
Directions From Willmar: Head north on Hwy 71 and
travel about 1 mile past the State Hospital located on
the northsidde next to Hwy 71, until you get to Co. Rd.
90. Turn right or east and go another half mile and you
will see it on the right. If traveling North on Co. Rd. 9 to
the east of Willmar, travel north for about 1/2 mi. past
the high school until Co. Rd. 90, and turn left. Go 1/2
mile and you will be there.
